This page covers how Deki Wiki handles document restoring, reverting, and revisioning in the Hayes release.

Revisions

Every time a page is edited, a new revision is created. File attachments and tags create entries in the "recent changes" log, but do not create new revisions. Deki Wiki keeps a copy of all revisions on a page until a page gets deleted, in which case the page and all of its revisions get archived.

Revert

Reverting allows you to change the most recent copy with an older copy. This is commonly done when a recent edit has overwritten changes from a previous edit.

Restore

Restore is the ability to bring back deleted pages.
