How do I...Run multiple Deki Wikis?

There are two basic ways to run multiple wikis. The first is to have multiple VMs running at the same time, each VM hosting its own wiki. Also, as of Deki Wiki 1.8.3 you can have multiple wiki's running in the same VM.

To run multple VMs: install VMware Server and then go through the install instructions as many times as you want wikis.  This has the downside that each VM takes up 256 MB of RAM, whether its needed or not.

To set up multiple wikis in the same VM, go here.

Is it possible to run multiple wikis without using VM on Linux? You have instructions which detail running multiple wikis which are prefixed by "install VMware Server" but how would running multiple wikis under Linux without VMware be set up?

A multi-wiki setup does not require the use of the VM. Just follow the instructions on http://wiki.opengarden.org/User:PeteE/Multi-Tenant_Setup
